Hello everyone! This time, the dish I'd like to share is crispy fried basa fish strips.

Ingredients

  • 1 large basa fish (about 4 oz)
  • 5 tablespoons potato starch
  • 6 tablespoons wheat flour
  • A little baking powder
  • A little salt

  • 1 egg
  • 5 tablespoons water
  • Cooking oil

Step-by-step Instructions

1. Cut the basa fish into strips about half an inch wide and three inches long. Then coat evenly with 2 tablespoons of wheat flour.

2. In a bowl, mix together the potato starch, 4 tablespoons of wheat flour, salt, baking powder, 1 egg, and 5 tablespoons of water until well combined.

3. Heat a pot and add oil. Once the oil is hot, dip the basa fish strips into the batter prepared earlier and fry them in the hot oil for about 2 minutes.

Once the fish strips turn golden brown, remove them from the hot oil.

Continue frying in this manner until all the basa fish strips are done.

4. Once everything has been fried once, put all the basa fish strips back into the hot oil and fry for another 3 minutes. This will make them wonderfully crispy and delicious to eat.
