We're sharing a recipe for delicious Japanese-style Teriyaki Tofu made using Japanese tofu (or bean curd). This is a dish that anyone who loves Japanese tofu or bean curd should try making. If you don't have Japanese tofu, you can substitute it with regular bean curd.
Fry 480 grams of Japanese tofu (or bean curd) in an oiled pot.
Once the color changes, add 80 milliliters of light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of pounded ginger, 1 tablespoon of pounded garlic, 1 cup of water, and 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, then stir it in. After that, cover it and let it sit for about 15 minutes.
When the time is up, open the lid and you can add any leafy vegetable you like, for example, mustard greens. After adding it, cover again and let it sit for 1 minute.
When the time is up, open the lid and push the vegetables to one side. Then, mix cornstarch with water until it becomes fairly thick, add about 5 tablespoons of it, and stir well.
Once it has thickened while stirring, scoop it into a plate and it's ready to eat. Now you've got a delicious Japanese-style Teriyaki Tofu!
