Hello everyone! Today we're sharing a recipe for pork and beef meatballs, a traditional Vietnamese dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder

  • 3 stalks scallion (finely chopped)
  • 2 limes (wash the limes and zest the peel with a knife to get fine lime zest)
  • 3 tablespoons mint leaves and 3 tablespoons cilantro
  • 340 grams beef and 340 grams pork (finely minced)
  • 120 grams panko breadcrumbs

Step-by-step preparation method

1. In a large bowl, add the eggs, fish sauce, garlic, ginger, chili powder, scallion, lime zest, cilantro, and mint leaves, then mix well until thoroughly combined.

2. Add the beef, pork, and panko breadcrumbs, then knead until well combined.

3. Shape the resulting meat mixture into small balls, then place them on a tray.

4. If you're using an oven, place the tray of meatballs in the oven for about 25 minutes. After about 12-13 minutes, flip the meatballs over to the other side and continue baking in the oven.

For those using a regular frying pan, heat the pan and add plenty of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the meatballs and fry until they turn golden brown. After frying for about 10-15 minutes, you'll have delicious pork and beef meatballs ready to enjoy.
