Hello everyone! For those who love cake desserts, I'd like to share a recipe for steamed banana cake that can be easily made at home with just a steamer, without needing to use an oven.

Ingredients

  • 6 bananas
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2.5 oz wheat flour (5 tablespoons)
  • 1.5 oz rice flour (3 tablespoons)
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 7 tablespoons water

Step-by-step instructions

1. Peel the bananas and slice them thinly. Then add the brown sugar and gently mash so the sugar spreads evenly throughout the bananas. (Do not squeeze the bananas too hard.)

Then let it sit for about 10 to 20 minutes.

2. In a separate bowl, mix together the wheat flour, rice flour, salt, and cinnamon powder until well combined. Then add water and mix until the batter is smooth.

3. Set aside about 12 to 15 banana slices for decoration, and add all the remaining bananas into the batter and mix well.

4. Pour the banana batter into a baking pan. Arrange the reserved banana slices on top as desired for decoration.

5. Then place the prepared banana cake pan into the steamer. Steam over medium heat for about 25 minutes.

6. When the time is up, insert a toothpick into the cake to check if it's cooked. If no batter sticks to the toothpick, you can take the banana cake out of the steamer.

And there you have it - a delicious steamed banana cake dessert!
