Hello everyone! For those who love pork dishes, I'd like to share the recipe for spicy pork belly curry cooked with long beans and bell peppers, and spiced up with crushed chili and chili pods.
Ingredients
- 250 grams pork belly (cut into medium-sized pieces)
- 1 full plate of long beans (cut into 1-inch lengths)
- 4 tablespoons each of red and yellow bell peppers (thinly sliced lengthwise)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of crushed chili, pounded until mushy
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 clove garlic (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 chili pods (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
Step-by-step instructions
1. Heat a wok, then add the pork pieces and fry until they turn golden brown.
If you want the pork to be nice and crispy, you'll need to fry it for a longer time.
2. Next, add the crushed chili, fish sauce, sugar, garlic, and chili pods, and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
3. Next, add the long beans and red and yellow bell peppers, and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
4. Lastly, add the ground white pepper and fry for another 1-2 minutes, or until the vegetables have softened.
Once all four steps are complete, you'll have a delicious spicy pork belly curry that pairs perfectly with a warm bowl of rice.
