Hello everyone! For those who love dumplings, this time I want to share how to prepare boiled pork dumplings.
Ingredients
- Pork 400 grams
- 1 pack of wheat wrappers for wrapping the dumplings
- Salt half a teaspoon and a little ground pepper
- Fish sauce 1 tablespoon
- 1 egg
- Sesame oil 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch 2 teaspoons
- Thinly sliced spring onion 1 tablespoon
- Thinly sliced ginger 1 tablespoon
- Ground white pepper 2 teaspoons
Step-by-step instructions
1. In a small bowl, put the ginger, spring onion, and ground white pepper, and mix well. Then add about 8 tablespoons of hot water.
2. Put the pork into a meat grinder and grind thoroughly. Then add salt, ground pepper, and fish sauce, and mix well for about 8 seconds. Then pour in the liquid from step (1) (without the solids) and mix well. Crack in 1 egg and mix again for about 15 seconds.
3. Put the resulting pork mixture into a bowl and knead well with sesame oil and cornstarch.
4. Place the pork filling in the center of the wheat wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold the dumpling into a half-moon shape.
5. Pour water into a large pot. Add a little salt and bring to a boil. Then add the dumplings and bring to a boil again.
After boiling for about 5 to 8 minutes, you can take out the dumplings.
Now you have delicious boiled pork dumplings ready. You can enjoy them with a dipping sauce of your choice for extra flavor.
