Hello everyone! For seafood lovers, this time I'd like to share a recipe for seafood pancake fritters.
Ingredients
- 120 grams shrimp (peeled and thinly sliced)
- 120 grams grouper fish or eel (thinly sliced)
- 120 grams squid (cleaned and the flesh thinly sliced)
- 1 green chili (thinly sliced)
- 3 stalks spring onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 tablespoon thinly sliced carrot
- 8 tablespoons wheat flour and 8 tablespoons corn flour
- 1 egg
- 8 tablespoons water, 1 tablespoon fish sauce, a little salt and ground pepper
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil and 6 tablespoons oil
Step-by-step preparation
1. In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, squid, grouper fish, chili, spring onion, carrot, wheat flour, corn flour, egg, water, fish sauce, salt, ground pepper, and sesame oil, then mix well until evenly combined.
2. Heat a pan and add about 3 tablespoons of oil. Once the oil is hot, scoop about 1 tablespoon of the seafood batter and fry it in the hot oil. Press it gently flat with a spoon and fry for about 2 minutes.
Then flip it over to the other side and fry for another 1 to 2 minutes. Once the pancake turns golden brown, remove it onto a plate.
Continue frying until all of the batter is used up.
Once you've finished frying all of them, you'll have delicious seafood pancake fritters ready.
You can enjoy it deliciously with your favorite dipping sauce.
