You want to eat ramen noodles but don't feel like having them boiled? Then you should try this method. Without needing a lot of ingredients, you can switch things up using chicken or beef along with ready-made dried noodles for a different style of eating.
Ingredients
- 2 packs of dried noodles
- ⅓ cup of stock
- ¼ cup of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 pound of chicken or beef
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic, finely minced
- 1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger
- Spring onions, thinly sliced
- ½ tablespoon of sesame seeds
Step-by-step cooking instructions
In a large pot of boiling water, boil the noodles for about 3-4 minutes until soft. Once softened, rinse with cold water and drain.
In a bowl, mix together the meat, oyster sauce, Rice Wine Vinegar, and Sriracha Sauce.
Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the meat and onions and cook for about 3-5 minutes until browned. Stir until the meat is finely cooked through, then drain off any excess oil.
Stir in the garlic and ginger and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then add the meat and noodles and mix together. Adjust the seasoning to taste, then sprinkle with spring onions and sesame seeds before serving.
