Hello everyone! This time, for those who love pork dishes, I'd like to share a recipe for broccoli and bell pepper pork stir-fry.
Ingredients
- Vegetable oil
- 400 grams pork (cut into medium-sized pieces)
- 3 carrots (thinly sliced)
- 1 red and 1 green bell pepper each (cut into half-inch sized pieces)
- 1 head of broccoli (cut into medium-sized florets)
- A little salt and pepper
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- A little spring onion (thinly sliced)
Ingredients needed for making the sauce
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 4 tablespoons meat stock (or water)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil and 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic (smashed and thinly sliced)
- 1 stalk spring onion (thinly sliced)
- 2 teaspoons coriander leaves (thinly sliced)
- 1 tablespoon corn flour
Step-by-step method
1. To make the sauce, put all the required ingredients into a bowl and mix well together.
Mix the pork well with salt and pepper. Add 3 tablespoons of the sauce, mix well again, and marinate for about 30 minutes.
2. Boil the broccoli florets in boiling salted water for about 2 minutes. Then take them out onto a plate.
3. Heat a wok and add 1 tablespoon of oil. When the oil is hot, add the pork and fry for about 3 minutes. Once the pork has turned brown, transfer it onto a plate.
4. Add another 1 tablespoon of oil into the wok. When the oil is hot, add the carrots and bell peppers. Add salt and pepper and stir-fry for about 3 minutes.
5. Then pour in the prepared sauce and simmer for about 1 minute. Then add the pork and broccoli back in and stir-fry for about 1 minute. Just before taking it off the heat, sprinkle in the spring onion.
And there you have it, a delicious broccoli, bell pepper, and pork stir-fry dish is ready.
