Hello everyone! We're sharing how to make a two-tone marble banana cake that goes perfectly with coffee and tea, for all the baking enthusiasts out there.

Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour 120 grams
  • Baking soda 3/4 teaspoon and salt 3/4 teaspoon
  • Sugar 16 tablespoons
  • Butter 1 stick (113 grams)
  • Eggs 2

  • Ripe bananas 3 (peel and mash into a pulp)
  • Sour Cream 8 tablespoons
  • Vanilla 1 teaspoon
  • Chocolate 3 ounces (cut into small pieces)
  • Cocoa powder 2 teaspoons

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Since we'll be baking a cake, first preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease the cake baking pan with butter.

2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar together using an electric mixer until well blended.

Then, add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

4. Pour the flour mixture into the egg cream mixture and stir slowly to combine.

5. Next, add the mashed banana, sour cream, and vanilla, then mix until the batter is thick.

6. As the next step, melt the chocolate pieces.

Add the cocoa powder into the melted chocolate and mix well. Then, pour about 1/3 of the banana batter into the chocolate bowl and mix thoroughly.

7. Then, pour one spoonful of banana batter and one spoonful of chocolate batter alternately into the cake baking pan.

8. Once all the batter has been added, use a knife to swirl the two batters together in a spiral pattern to create the marble effect.

9. Then, bake in the oven for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Once the set time has elapsed, you'll have a delicious two-tone marble chocolate banana cake ready.
