Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken (cut into pieces about one inch around)

  • 2 eggs

  • 5 tablespoons brown sugar and 2 tablespoons fish sauce

Step by step instructions

1. In one bowl, put the wheat flour.

In a second bowl, beat the eggs.

In a third bowl, put the corn starch.

2. Next, coat the chicken pieces with wheat flour. Dip them in the egg. Then coat them again with corn starch.

3. In another bowl, combine the chili flakes, vinegar, brown sugar, fish sauce, and ginger, and mix well.

4. Heat oil in a pot. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken pieces and fry for about 3 to 4 minutes.

Place the fried chicken pieces onto a plate and let them cool.

5. Then, pour over the sauce prepared in step (3) and mix thoroughly. Finally, sprinkle with spring onion and sesame seeds.

Once all these steps are complete, your Korean style sesame-glazed fried chicken is ready.
