Hello everyone! For those who love sandwiches, this time I'd like to share a way to fry boiled eggs and pair them with a sandwich.
Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon fish sauce, and 1/2 teaspoon cooking wine
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon honey
- 16 tablespoons vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 8 tablespoons bread crumbs (for frying)
- 2 slices of bread
Step-by-step method
1. Crack the 8 eggs into a large bowl, then add the salt, sugar, fish sauce, and cooking wine, and beat until well mixed.
2. In a separate deep bowl, add a little water. Then strain the beaten eggs through a sieve and pour them in. If there are any remaining foam bubbles, skim them off.
3. Then steam it in a steamer pot for about 9 minutes.
Once the time is up, remove the boiled egg from the bowl and let it cool in the refrigerator for about 5 to 6 hours.
4. Heat a wok and add oil.
Trim the edges of the previously chilled boiled egg so that it matches the size of the bread.
5. Then coat it with flour. Dip it into the beaten egg. Then coat it with the bread crumbs for frying. Once done, fry it in the hot oil until it turns golden brown.
6. Spread mayonnaise on the two slices of bread. Then place the fried boiled egg in between.
And there you have it, a delicious boiled egg sandwich.
