For those who love fried leaf wraps, this time I want to share the recipe for hot and crispy fried chicken leaf wraps.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken (finely sliced)
  • 4 tablespoons finely sliced spring onion (separate the white and green parts)
  • 2 teaspoons finely sliced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon finely sliced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 25 leaves needed for wrapping
  • Oil for frying

Step-by-step instructions

1. In a large bowl, add the chicken, spring onion, ginger, garlic, fish sauce, and sesame oil, then mix well until thoroughly combined.

2. Lay out the wrapping leaves in rows on a cutting board. Take about 2 teaspoons of the mixed chicken filling and place it in the center of each leaf.

Then, wet your finger with a little water and moisten the edges of the leaf. Fold the wrap into a half-moon shape and press the edges to seal.

Continue this process until all the leaves and filling are used up.

3. Heat a pan and add 2 tablespoons of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the rolled wraps and fry until they turn golden brown.

Once they turn golden brown, add about 4 tablespoons of water, cover the pan, and let it steam for about 5 minutes.

When the time is up, you can transfer them to a serving plate.

Once you finish frying the remaining wraps the same way, you'll have delicious chicken leaf wraps ready to enjoy.
