Fried rice is one of the dishes that's easy to prepare and can be cooked in just minutes with only a few ingredients. This beef fried rice recipe we're sharing today serves four people and can be finished in just 10 to 15 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 225 grams beef (thinly sliced)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 eggs (beaten)
- 4 stalks spring onion (finely sliced)
- 4 bowls of cooked rice
- 1 bowl of vegetables (your choice of vegetables such as broccoli, carrots, corn kernels, and green peas)
- 1 bell pepper (cut into small square pieces)
- 2 teaspoons cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt
Step-by-step Instructions
1. Heat the wok and add oil. When the oil is hot, add the beef and fry for about 2 to 3 minutes. Once the beef turns brown, push it to one side of the wok.
2. In the empty space of the wok, add 1/2 tablespoon of oil and the spring onions, then stir-fry for a few minutes.
3. Next, add the rice. Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce over the rice and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
4. In the next step, add the vegetables, bell pepper, cumin powder, chili powder, and salt, then stir-fry for about 1 minute.
5. Next, push the fried rice to one side of the wok. Add 1/2 tablespoon of oil to the empty space in the wok. Add the beaten eggs and stir-fry. Then mix the scrambled eggs together with the fried rice evenly.
6. After tasting and adjusting for saltiness, your delicious beef fried rice is ready to enjoy.
