Hello everyone. This time, I want to share a recipe for chicken-flavored chow mein for those who love fried noodles.

Ingredients

  • 9 oz dried noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 pieces chicken breast (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 red chili (thinly sliced)

  • 4 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 whole bowls of mustard greens (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 bowl of thinly sliced spring onion
  • A little sesame oil

Ingredients needed to make the sauce

  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce and 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Step-by-step instructions

1. Soak the dried noodles in hot water until softened.

2. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and honey together until well combined.

3. Heat a pot and add the butter. Once the butter has melted, add the chicken. Sprinkle black pepper and fry until it turns brown. Then flip to the other side, sprinkle black pepper again, and fry until fully cooked.

4. Next, add the thinly sliced red chilies and fry for about 3 minutes. Then add the garlic and stir-fry until well mixed. Add the mustard greens and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.

5. As the next step, add the noodles. Then pour in the soy sauce mixture prepared in step (2). If needed, you can add a little more water.

After stir-frying until well combined, taste and adjust the seasoning to your preference.

Then remove from the heat and sprinkle spring onions and sesame seeds on top.

And now you have a delicious chicken chow mein ready to enjoy.
