Hello everyone! For those who love crispy fried chicken, this time I'd like to share how to prepare fried chicken infused with buttermilk flavor.
Ingredients
- Chicken wings (or) chicken drumsticks (or) chicken breast, about 2 lbs
- Buttermilk, 32 tablespoons
- Eggs, 2
- Black pepper powder, 1 teaspoon
- Chili sauce, 1 teaspoon
- Salt, 1 teaspoon and black pepper powder, 1 teaspoon
- Baking powder, 2 teaspoons and baking soda, 1½ teaspoons
- Wheat flour (all-purpose flour), 32 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil
Step-by-step instructions
1. In a large bowl, mix together the buttermilk, eggs, black pepper powder, chili sauce, salt, and black pepper powder until well combined. Then add the baking powder and baking soda, and mix again until well combined.
In another bowl, put the wheat flour ready.
2. Next, coat the pieces of chicken with the wheat flour. Then dip them into the buttermilk mixture.
3. Heat a pot and add oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken pieces and fry for about 7 minutes. Then flip to the other side and fry for another 3 to 5 minutes.
Once the chicken pieces turn golden brown, transfer them onto a plate.
And there you have it — delicious buttermilk-flavored fried chicken, ready to enjoy!
