For those who love fried noodles, I'd like to share a recipe for beef fried noodles that will make your taste buds dance.
Ingredients
- 225 grams beef (thinly sliced)
- 225 grams noodles
- 2 tablespoons cooking wine, 2 teaspoons cornstarch, and 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons peanut oil
- A little mustard greens (cut into medium size pieces)
- 4 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
- 1 piece of ginger about 1 inch in diameter (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 onion (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 carrot (thinly sliced into strips)
Ingredients needed for the sauce
- 16 tablespoons beef broth
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce and 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cooking wine and 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vinegar and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
Step-by-step instructions
1. Put the beef in a bowl. Then add 2 tablespoons cooking wine, 2 teaspoons cornstarch, and salt, and mix well until combined.
2. In another bowl, mix all the ingredients needed for the sauce thoroughly.
3. Boil the dried noodles according to the instructions on the package.
4. Heat a pan/wok and add 2 tablespoons peanut oil. Once the oil is hot, add the noodles and fry until they turn golden. Then transfer to a plate.
5. In the same pan/wok, add another 1 tablespoon of oil. Add the beef and fry for about 30 seconds. Then flip to the other side and fry for a few more minutes. Then transfer to a plate.
6. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the pan/wok. Add the onion and carrot and stir-fry for a few minutes. Then add the ginger and garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
7. Next, add the mustard greens and stir-fry for about 1 minute. Pour in the prepared sauce and stir-fry until the sauce thickens.
8. Then add the fried beef back into the pan/wok and stir-fry until the sauce reaches the right consistency.
9. Once everything is fried and done, pour it over the fried noodles.
