Hello everyone! This time, the dish we'd like to share is egg-stuffed bell peppers.
Ingredients
- 3 bell peppers (red, orange, and yellow)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
- 1 onion (thinly sliced)
- A little bit of parsley or basil leaves for fragrance
- A little salt and black pepper
- A little cheese
- 6 eggs
- 16 tablespoons of Ketchup sauce
Method, step by step
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Cut the bell peppers in half and remove the seeds inside. Then place them in a bowl. Add 5 tablespoons of water and sprinkle in salt and black pepper. Then cover the bowl with plastic wrap and heat in the oven for about 5 minutes.
3. Heat a pan and add the butter and olive oil. Once the butter has melted, add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Then add the onion and mix well until evenly combined. Then add the cheese and taste to check the seasoning.
4. Pour the Ketchup sauce into a baking tray. Place the bell peppers in the tray, then add the earlier onion and cheese mixture into the peppers. (Leave a small opening for cracking in the egg.) Once done, heat in the oven for about 10 minutes.
5. When the time is up, crack one egg into each bell pepper. Sprinkle a little black pepper. Then bake in the oven for about 10 more minutes.
Once everything is done, sprinkle on the parsley leaves.
And there you have it — a delicious dish of egg-stuffed bell peppers.
