Hello everyone! For those who want to enjoy a variety of vegetables fried deliciously, I'd like to share how to cook mushrooms, broccoli, and chili peppers with a spicy kick to make them tasty.
Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons fish sauce
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons cooking wine
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- A pinch of chili powder
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 pound broccoli (cut into medium-sized pieces)
- 7 oz mushrooms (stems removed and thinly sliced)
- Red chili peppers (thinly sliced)
- 3 cloves garlic (finely minced)
- 3 stalks spring onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 tablespoon finely minced ginger
Step-by-step instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix together the fish sauce, water, cooking wine, sesame oil, sugar, cornstarch, and chili powder until well combined.
2. Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Then add the broccoli and boil for about 2 minutes.
Once the broccoli is cooked, rinse it once more with water.
3. Heat a wok and add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot, add the mushrooms and chili peppers and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
4. Then add the garlic, spring onion (white parts only), and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
5. Once done, add the broccoli and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
6. Then pour in the sauce mixed in step (1) and stir well for about 30 seconds until combined.
After tasting for a light saltiness, you'll have a delicious bowl of stir-fried mushrooms and broccoli ready to enjoy.
