Hello everyone! This time, I'd like to share how to prepare Sliced Pork with Tomato Sauce for those who enjoy Chinese food.
Ingredients
- 2 tomatoes
- 0.5 lb pork (thinly sliced)
- 4 cloves of garlic and 1 stalk of spring onion
- 3 fresh green chilies
- 8 tablespoons of water
- Half a tablespoon of sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- Half a tablespoon of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of corn starch (mixed with 3 teaspoons of water to make a cornstarch slurry)
Step-by-step instructions
1. Thinly slice the 4 cloves of garlic, then thinly slice the fresh green chilies.
2. Wash the spring onion and tomatoes. Then thinly slice the spring onion. Cut the tomatoes into medium-sized pieces as well.
3. Heat a wok and add 2 tablespoons of oil. When the oil is hot, add the tomatoes, cover, and let sit for about 1 minute. Then flip to the other side and fry for another minute. Once done, transfer to a plate.
4. Next, add half a tablespoon of sesame oil into the wok. When the oil is hot, add the sliced pork, garlic, and green chilies, and stir-fry evenly.
5. Next, add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, 8 tablespoons of water, and the cornstarch slurry, then mix well. As the final step, add the tomatoes and spring onion, and mix well with the soy sauce.
Once all these steps are complete, you'll have a delicious Sliced Pork with Tomato Sauce ready to enjoy.
