If you love Thai street food, you'll definitely enjoy this basil pork stir-fry too.

Ingredients

20 taels of pork

4 to 5 cloves of garlic

2 red chilies (thinly sliced)

1/4 cup of chicken broth

1/2 cup of basil

4 to 5 stalks of spring onion

Oil

1 red chili (for garnish)

To make the sauce

2 tablespoons of oyster sauce

2 to 3 tablespoons of Thai soy sauce (Golden Mountain Sauce)

1 teaspoon of fish sauce

1 teaspoon of dark soy sauce

1 tablespoon of sugar

2 tablespoons of lime juice

Method

Thai Style Basil Pork Stir-fry

Mix all the sauce ingredients together in a bowl. Stir until the sugar dissolves.

Prepare everything near the stove.

Heat a pan or pot over medium heat and add a little oil. Add the garlic and chilies, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Add the meat. When the meat is almost cooked, add half of the chicken broth.

Push the ingredients to the side of the pan and crack the egg into the center. Mix the egg with the rest of the ingredients in the pan and stir-fry.

Add the prepared sauce. Keep the heat at medium and let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until it boils.

Add the remaining chicken broth. Add the spring onion and basil. Stir well.

Reduce the heat and taste it. If it's too salty, squeeze in 1 or 2 drops of lime juice. If it needs more saltiness, add a little fish sauce.

Slice the red chili and use it for garnish.
