You might think that shoes made from coffee grounds or ties made from mushrooms could only be created through magic found in fairy tales. But would you believe that leather products can be created without harming a single animal?

What's currently making waves in the fashion world is the creation of apple leather accessories from apple peels. Companies are also showing tremendously high interest in this apple leather.

Samara, a fashion company founded by two Canadian sisters, is also one of the major companies inventing accessories using apple peels. They spent a whole year working hard to figure out how to recycle apple peels and protect the environment, in order to produce the very first apple leather product.

However, in their interview, they admitted that they haven't yet been able to create a completely plastic-free product and still need to rely on a small amount of plastic assistance. Still, there's no denying that reducing plastic usage this way is more beneficial to the environment than excessive plastic use.

One company has even revealed the secret method of making leather products from apple peels. First, the apple peels are collected and dried. Then, they are ground into powder. After that, the powder is mixed with non-toxic textile dye to create the apple leather.

Nowadays, apple leather accessories are famous not only among artists but even among British royal family members.

The first celebrity to carry an apple leather bag was Pamela Anderson, which was a gift from the famous French company Ashoka Paris, with whom she collaborates. That bag received a great deal of public attention.

On January 9th, in honor of Kate Middleton's birthday, the animal protection organization PETA gave Kate a small apple leather bag made by Ashoka Paris as a birthday gift. The purpose of this gift was to encourage people, like Kate, to oppose animal cruelty and protect the environment.
